ROUTER ADVERTISEMENT
Neighbour discovery message sent by a router in a pseudo-periodic way or as router solicitation message response. The advertisement includes, at least, information about a prefix that will be later used by the host to calculate its own unicast IPv6 address following the stateless mechanism.
