EZchip Delivers Sample Code for IPv6 Routing on its NP-1c 10-Gigabit Network Processor Welcoming the Arrival of IPv6 to America.

EZchip Technologies (a subsidiary of LanOptics Ltd., NASDAQ:LNOP), a fabless semiconductor company providing high-speed network processors, today announced the immediate availability of IPv6 routing sample code for its NP-1c 10-Gigabit network processor.

The NP-1c integrates Processing and Classifying - the two main functions of network processing - on to a single chip, replacing as many as 40 chips in competing solutions with one for various applications, for example an Edge router with 500,000 routes and flows.
