Inet Technologies Inc., a provider of diagnostic software for communication service providers, has upgraded its Spectra2 product, which includes voice-over-IP conformance testing. Spectra2 tests conformance with Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), Megaco, H.323 and MGCP protocols. | ||
| The product uses the ETSI TIPHON specifications for conformance testing. Spectra2 comes with packaged test suites and automation tools, so extensive programming is not necessary, though the tools are highly customizable. Version 3.3 includes new features that support automated scheduling of test scripts and generator models, as well as support for the IPv6 addressing format for all Spectra2 applications and VoIP protocols.
