Pannaway Unveils Triple Play Solution

Pannaway Technologies Inc. this month comes out with a new, hardened version of its home-based gateway as well as network-based switching and aggregation equipment to support rural telcos in their efforts to deliver the triple play over existing copper networks.
The BAS also provides dial tone and lifeline support for PBGs, quality of service control, IGMP snooping for efficient multicast video delivery, 50 millisecond switchover on gigabit uplinks, and a distributed architecture for IPv6, ADSL2+ and SNMPv3.
