IPv6, the next generation Internet Protocol, is entering its 17th year of existence. However, it is only now, with the exhaustion of the IANA IPv4 address resource pool, that IPv6 adoption has become a persistent global concern. While the business case is easy for a service provider in China, the argument for an enterprise in North America, big or small, is more elusive.
