Authentication Protocol for Mobile IPv6 (v04)
Description: IPsec is specified as the sole means of securing all signaling messages between the Mobile Node and Home agent for Mobile IPv6. A flexible model for security between the Mobile Node and Home Agent is required from the perspective of deployment of the Mobile IPv6 protocol. One instance of such deployment need comes from networks that are built on 3GPP2 standards. This document proposes an alternate method for securing the signaling messages that are responsible for performing Registration of a Mobile Node at a home agent.

Extension to Sockets API for Mobile IPv6 (v03)
Description: This document describes data structures and API support for Mobile IPv6 as an extension to Advanced Socket API for IPv6. Mobility Support in IPv6 introduces mobility protocol header for IPv6. It is expected that future Mobile IPv6 applications and implementations may need to access Mobility binding messages and Return Routability messages for diagnostic, packet accounting and local policy setting purposes. In order to provide portability for Mobile IP applications that use sockets under IPv6, standardization is needed for the Mobile IPv6 specific APIs. This document provides mechanism for API access to retrieve and set information for Mobility Header messages, Home Address destination options and type 2 Routing header extension headers. It discusses the common data structures and definitions that might be used by advanced Mobile IPv6 socket applications.

Mobile IPv6 and Firewalls Problem statement (v01)

Mobile Node Identifier Option for Mobile IPv6 (v02)
Description: Mobile IPv6 defines a new Mobility header which is used by mobile nodes, correspondent nodes, and home agents in all messaging related to the creation and management of bindings. Mobile IPv6 nodes need the capability to identify themselves using an identity other than the default home IP address. Some examples of identifiers include NAI, FQDN, IMSI, MSISDN, etc. This document defines a new mobility option that can be used by Mobile IP6 entities to identify themselves in messages containing a mobility header.
