Philippines Soon To Launch First 'Open' Internet Exchange

The Philippines will soon launch its first open and non-commercial Internet exchange to allow better exchange of Internet traffic in a free-market environment. The non-profit membership-based project will be managed and owned by a group of companies and the Department of Science and Technology - Advanced Science and Technology Institute (DOST-ASTI).
