The Fedora Project announces the first release of the Fedora Core 6 development cycle. Notable features: support for the Intel-based Macintosh platform; ipv6 support in the installer; scim-bridge for improved i18n input; puplet applet for update notifications; new printing system; GNOME 2.15; KDE 3.5.3; 1600+ Extras packages conveniently available via yum.
